To celebrate Paddington’s 50th anniversary, The Times newspaper have teamed up with HarperCollins Children’s Books to offer an exclusive first peek at the brand new Paddington novel, Paddington Here and Now, ahead of its official publication on 2nd June.
On Saturday 3rd May grab a copy of The Times Magazine and you can read the very first extract from the book and see some of the illustrations, as well as read the first interview with Paddington creator Michael Bond.
Then on Wednesday 7th May look out for a feature on the artists who have drawn Paddington over the last fifty years in The Times T2, to include interviews with the legendary Peggy Fortnum, who illustrated the first Paddington books, and R. W. Alley who has provided pictures for Paddington Here and Now and the Paddington picture book series.
You will also be able to hear a preview of the audio edition of Paddington Here and Now on The Times website, read by one of Paddington’s most famous fans, Stephen Fry.
